Anyone on arimadex and had a reoccurrence?

    Sheri I was put on femara then arimidex then aromasin (all are in the same aromatse inhibitor class) trying to find which one made my joints hurt less. This was four years ago. I was thinking I only had one year left to take it. Long story short, I found a lump that was pos and first thing my oncologist told me was to quit taking the arimidex because it obviously wasn't working. I tossed them the same day. So yes, you can get a recurrence when taking arimidex. Just doesn't work for everyone. Btw my cancer markers were not elevated when they found the positive nodes. Go figure!

    That is not very comforting when it is supposed to inhibit reoccurrences !!
