Can a 16 year old girl die from cancer?

    If you are talking about breast cancer, I am sure it has happened. The thing with breast cancer or any other type of cancer is early detection. If any woman or girl feels something isn't normal with her breasts, she needs to (in the case of a girl) talk to her mom to get an appointment with a doctor. Breast are just lumpy and most of the time these lumps and bumps are not cancer!!! Women are so terrified to have these checked because they are afraid they are cancer. If it turns out they are, you want to get things going ASAP. Women should not be so scared they scare themselves to death putting off being checked!!! Sadly, very young women do develop breast cancer. It is usually an aggressive type and needs to be caught as early as possible. Daisy, if you are worried about yourself, talk to your mom as soon as you can. Get a doctor's appointment for your own peace of mind. Most lumps and bumps are not cancer. Take care, Sharon

    I agree with Sharon! I am years older than you Daisy, but we should NEVER be afraid to get things checked out. Please talk to your Mom or grandmother or a teacher -someone-and check it out. Honey, it is better to be safe than sorry. I hope the very best for you.
