Sodium. And potassium. Along with. Others are to keep your. Chemistry level inside your blood vessels
0It could mean you are dehydrated. Do you have a low hemoglobin (blood count as well)? Sodium is usually concentrated inside our cells, with more "water" on the outside of the cells. Sometimes that balance gets a little messed up due to meds, cancer, etc.
"Low sodium levels are uncommon and most often occur as a side effect of taking medicines that make you urinate more, such as diuretics. Severe diarrhea or vomiting or heavy sweating may also cause low sodium levels."
Basically just drink more water and the body will regulate itself out.
Sorry, what I wrote isn't what I. Was thinking. Kellie that was agreat explanation!!!

Yes low red blood count and high creatin. I'm just concerned because I googled low sodium and lung cancer came up!!!! I freaked out of course. I just had a pet scan and it was clear but you never know. Thanks for the posts.
0Your creatinine can go up when you are dehydrated as well, so it is most likely related to that. Drink, drink, drink. Good luck and remember not to google things :)). I know-it is impossible not to, but better if we dont. Thinking and praying for you.
