Anyone had a problem with excessive tearing from the eyes? This is after 3rd and fourth (final) taxotere/cytoxin treatment?

Yes, I had major tearing and constantly had to wipe the tears off . So annoying!! With this my skin became quite chafed and I used Vaseline to help the irritation. I constantly found myself telling people I wasn't crying, it was just a side effect of the chemo. Connie,it sounds that you are at the end of treatment. Hang in there, it will go away soon.

Yes!!! I couldn't find a remedy for it. When I spoke to the doctor he said sometimes it hit the sinus. I lost my eylashes about the same time it got real bad. I wasn't wearing makeup so it was not a problem other than being really annoying.

Thank you everyone for your input Does anyone remember how long it lasted? Also I asked my oncologist about it and he said I should have it checked by my eye doctor because sometimes it crystallizes and causes problems in the tear ducts. I was surprised they said that.

Yes!! I had major tearing and was always wiping it. I went to the eye doctor to get it checked, and they suggested eye drops as they said my eyes were dry. It somewhat worked, and cleared up sometime after treatments. I do occasionally still get it (not as bad) and yes, my eyes also twitch :( I ended treatments on 10/31/11.

Yep, sure did! More annoying than anything else. It stops when treatment does, so it should go away soon.
