One of my toes is very red and swollen, tender to the touch, and the nail bed is raised. There is a raised area around the cuticle also that looks kind of like a blister. I was prescribed an oral antibiotic. I'm surprised I'm getting this now...

I was prescribed an oral antibiotic. I'm surprised I'm getting this now after 9 taxol treatments. I only have 3 more to go!

My toenails were fine, but after I finished my treatments I noticed horizontal grooves in my fingernails. They finally grew out so back to normal :)

My toenails came completely off and my fingernails turned black and really hurt. Good news is its all back to normal now, a year later. Hang in there girl it won't last forever

My big toe nails were the only nails affected for me. They got a ridge in the middle and the top part went dead. I am still having issues with them growing out being that the dead nail doesnt really want to grow. The top part is also thick. Good luck-just one of those annoying side effects!

I got the toe nail fungus in left big toe from chem. could not take med treatment due to being hard on the liver. Doc said to use tree tea oil. Worked great.

Oh, yeah! Toenails AND fingernails. My fingernails look like they have tree rings, one for each round of chemo. I swear. Both toe and fingernails are kind of warped and have an odd thickness to them. I finished chemo in March and have one "tree ring" left to grow out -- my toenails are a little slower. The base of all my toenails also turned black, but that's gone. Hang in!
